After a little more than 30 years of making waves on the world of international tourism, it seems like Cancun Real Estate begins to enter a phase where maturity has caught up; none the less, far from loosing dynamism and potential, this destination seems to be at its best moment of its existence, assured Carlos Joaquin Gonzalez, State Tourism Secretary of Quintana Roo, detailed the importance that Cancun real estate represents for the national finances and how its adaptation is studied to keep competing in an environment of economic difficulties in a more competed market.
Gonzalez explained that Cancun Mexico is permanently in a “renovation therapy” where the goal is to keep adding attractive tourism that is not only destined to support the water activities as the tip of the spear of the national activity, “it doesn’t matter if the tourist came 10 years ago or last year, the idea is for tourists to always find new things, like the golf courses that didn’t exist a few years ago, the fusion with the Riviera Maya and the Mayan World, cultural and sports events such as the IRONMAN triathlon in Cozumel or the PGA golf tournament in Mayakoba, the Life and Death Festival in Xcaret, or the exciting Jazz festival in the Riviera Maya, without forgetting the arrival of the new boutique-hotels or the renovation many of the hotels had after Hurricane Wilma.
